Vestibular Rehab

The vestibular system is the sensory system that helps us have a feeling of balance and being steady in our environment. Dizziness, vertigo, unsteadiness on your feet, and poor balance may all be the result of a dysfunction of the inner ear and the communication to our brains. Vestibular disorders are highly prevalent in the United States.  Some studies show that over one of three adults, 40 years and older, have experienced vestibular dysfunction.

Physical therapy can help you regain control of the vestibular system and ultimately restore your equilibrium. Premier is staffed with clinicians who have undergone advanced, post-doctorate vestibular training and have gained the necessary certifications to treat these conditions.

A skilled physical therapist is trained to monitor and guide you as you slowly introduce the appropriate stimulus to maximize your recovery and avoid the development of any chronic post-concussive symptoms.
